Moiré

The curtain made from moiré fabric is a real eyecatcher in every flat or house. This curtain is made from a fabric, which was manufactured of silk or half-silk and is additionally equipped with arabesques.

In closer inspection, arabesques may remind you of a wood grain and therefore constitute a very nice pattern. This pattern is seen as the typical pattern for a moiré curtain and it is produced according to the weaving method. For the pattern effect the fabric for the curtain is pressed under thermal impact.

There is not only the genuine fabric for moiré curtains, but there is also an imitated one. The buyer can easily identify both versions, because with the imitate version of the fabric the motive is impressed not until the processing of the fabric.

The imitation may be quite cheaper than a genuine moiré curtain, but it will not look as fantastic as the real one. What is more, here the pattern could dissolve after some time. (Gardine, Hingucker, Seide, Halbseide, Arasbeken, Holzmaserung, Muster)
